Terms of Service

H&O Wholesale & Freight (“H&O”, “we”, “us”) provides freight forwarding and shipment coordination services between China and the United Kingdom. By requesting a quote or placing an order request through this platform you agree to these Terms.

Fast quote estimates are indicative only and are not binding. They are generated from current rate data and may differ from your final cost. A binding price is only confirmed when we provide it against your full order request. We never reuse a past price; every price is calculated fresh against live rates.

In this version of our service, H&O does not act as your customs agent or customs broker. You are the importer of record. You are solely responsible for:

• UK import duty and any applicable tariffs;
• Import VAT;
• Customs clearance, declarations and any associated documentation;
• Ensuring your goods are legal to import and correctly classified.

Prices and estimates shown exclude duty, VAT and clearance charges. We can offer general guidance and will flag commodities that may need additional documentation, but the responsibility for customs compliance and payment rests with you. We may integrate customs handling into the service in future, at which point these Terms will be updated.

When you place a full order request, it is submitted to our team for manual review. An order request is not a confirmed booking. We will obtain pricing from carriers and suppliers and update your order with a confirmed price. The order proceeds only once you accept that price.

Estimated transit times are guidance only and are not guaranteed. Shipments may be delayed by carriers, weather, port congestion, or customs inspection. H&O is not liable for losses arising from delays outside our reasonable control, including customs holds.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, H&O’s liability in connection with any shipment is limited to the freight charges paid for that shipment. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
